UN PAISAJE SINGULAR / A UNIQUE LANDSCAPE

  El desierto de Gorafe está situado en la depresión de Guadix-Baza (Granada). Se trata de un paisaje singular lleno de barrancos, cárcavas y cañones que al ser bañados por la luz del sol se convierte en un espectáculo admirable, sobre todo en la zona conocida como "Los Colorados" gracias a la arcilla roja que forma este paraje.

  

  

  

  Ésta era la segunda localización de nuestro viaje, y si bien en la primera de ellas (Sierra de Baza) las condiciones meteorológicas fueron muy favorables, en ésta nos encontramos una meteorología adversa con mucho sol y una ausencia total de nubes. Son inconvenientes que nos pueden aparecer cuando afrontamos un viaje con dos localizaciones distintas (nieve en la primera y badlands en la segunda). Visto ésto decidimos aprovechar el trabajo basándonos en detalles de este paisaje, sobre todo las tonalidades y las texturas, aquí os muestro algunos ejemplos ...

  The Gorafe Desert is found in the Depression of Guadix_Baza (Granada) It has a unique landscape full of ravines, gullies and canyons which are bathed in sunlight, making an admirable sight, especially in the area known as “Los Colorados” meaning “colourful”, due to the red clay which makes up this landscape.

  This was the second location in our journey and in the first part (Sierra de Baza) the weather conditions were favourable, in the second one we ran into adverse weather with lots of sun and a total lack of clouds. It’s inconvenient when we come across such different things (snow in the first and badlands in the second).

Taking all this into account we decided to make the best of this study by focusing on the details of the countryside , above all the tones and the textures. Here are some examples ...
